On TwitterLit I post the first line of a book (any book, not just for kids) twice a day, every morning and evening. And people can subscribe to them by RSS or email or on Twitter. And with both KidderLit and TwitterLit there are widgets people can add to their sites. Twitter, meanwhile, is a kind of public instant messaging that can be useful for many different reasons: shouting out to a group of friends, just announcing interesting sites to the world, etc. I could go on....
